The Fall Cooking Club has come to an end. Fifth grade students learned how to make healthy meal choices and how to incorporate more veggies into their meals. They learned how to make healthy and delicious recipes, including the Chicken Stir Fry, which allowed some to learn how to use chopsticks! Liberty Elementary has a couple of new little chefs in the making!

Thank you Brian Pierce (Navy Seal), JR Beard (US Army), Quan Bogues (US Marine Corps), Janie Konyek (US Army), and Mr. Hairr (US Marine Corps) for your service to our country and community. In honor of Veteran's Day this week, students spent time with these local veterans to hear their stories and be encouraged by them. We are so fortunate to have these positive role models supporting our students.
