I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a double major.  My first major was Human Development and Family Studies where I received my Birth-Kindergarten Teaching Liscense.  My second major was Psychology.  I went on to Elon University where I received my Masters in Elementary Education.

I taught Pre-K (3-years), 1st grade (4-years), 2nd grade (3-years), and 5th grade (1-year) before becoming the Curriculum Support Instructor at Liberty Elementary School.

Hello Liberty Parents and Students.  I am Miss Lindy Kirkman.  I am the Curriculum Support Instructor (Lead Teacher) at Liberty Elementary School.  I have been teaching at Liberty for a long time.

I have a precious dog named Shadow who is very dear to me.

I have enjoyed working as the Curriculum Support Instructor for Liberty Elementary School. I wear many hats here at Liberty, which means I have a lot of responsibilities. I also get to see all the exciting things students are learning in their classrooms. I am also the Testing Coordinator for our school.  I look forward to working with you and your child.   My desire is to see that every child achieves to his/her full potential.  Please feel free contact me at or (336) 622-2253 if you have any questions or concerns.
